We set the date for our first trip to BLT. The whole family is going in late January 2012. One more year of patience.

We bought-in for the MK location and monorail access. It's going to be a long year.

Yes, I am very excited especially since I have heard MK views are easy to get at 11 months. I will need a few transfer points because we decided to stay two extra nights, so I am trying to figure out our options.

All of the furniture wear and bathroom/cleaning criticisms worry me. However, it seems like it is the non-BLT owners that are the most critical. I go to Disney for the parks, not for some grand hotel resort experience. I will be happy with a comfortable bed and a nice view. I just do not want the room to look ‘dirty’.

we stayed in a 2BR last jan and had not problems...there were 8 of us. we are going jan 2012 and there will be 12 of us. time will fly and it will be here before you know it. i've never had a problem at a disney resort that wasnt fixed to our liking whene we approached the staff about it. had one small problem in a room at wilderness lodge a few years ago but was taken care of promtly.

Agreed. I just want enough space for my family to not have to climb over each other's stuff to get in and out of the bathroom (a la 'family suite' at All Star Music). Other than that it's all about the parks for us. Good luck with the patience you'll need to tide you over until your trip.

When we were there in May of 2010 the 1BR Lake View room we had was not dirty.

I am SURE that people have shown up and had problems but so far with 2 DVC stays (1 BLT, 1 AKV) we have been happy.

We made our first trip to BLT in october and thought it was great. only one bad thing was a dirty pillow case. Our 2 bdrm dedicated was huge.

Welcome Home BLT neighbor. Wow, what a long wait for your first DVC stay. We were selfish and didn't invite family to join us until our third DVC stay.

Hopefully reading the DISboards will make the time go faster.

We are counting down to our 5th BLT stay. I have always found the rooms to be very clean and have never noticed any particular wear.

We love BLT. Your family will have a wonderful time there!
