BLT Rooftop Fireworks Viewing Area

Does anyone know what the "availability is very limited" note means, in reference to the rooftop fireworks viewing area? Do you think it is something that will be reserved for large groups, or something that has to be booked in advance? Maybe it means only BLT owners will have access to it, and not DVC owners using points from other resorts. Anyone have any idea how hard it will be to get up there?

from what I've gathered from the rumors on the DIS boards, the lounge will be for the people staying at BLT. Now, will this only be DVC BLT people or all BLT people, I dont know.

Rooftop viewing may be great, but I'd much rather be watching from inside the MK than the roof of a hotel.

At the end of the video on the DVC Member website it says something about also calling for reservations???

Maybe, you have to call to reserve the spot in advance. I think I read somewhere that the rooftop viewing area only holds 70 people. I'm not sure if that is correct, but if so it would either have to be by reservation or first come/first served.

It doesn't look like it would be big enough to hold everyone staying at BLT at one time.

Hmm, well I doubt it has to hold everyone staying there. Just everyone who is on the lake side.

But I saw that "must call for reservations" bit, and wondered if there was going to be a charge for it. It would also make a nice concierge lounge; too bad they aren't going to have a concierge level.

It's at the end of the building on the third floor, next to Jellyrolls (next to room 3001). It was supposed to be a member "clubhouse" but instead it is rented for private events.
