Based on past experience, when a new resort starts selling pts, do they release the chart in advance so you can see how many you may want or do they release the chart same day sales start?

It will be released before sales actually start -- they cannot start sales before doing so -- but how long before is up to them although in past it has usually been about same time as when they announce the actual date for beginning of sales.

Maybe when the time gets closer someone will croak and you will have the point charts a little sooner than Disney will release them.
