BUT - BLT will be opened to the general public on Sunday - members only have one week to buy before the rest of the world has the chance!!

The official Point chart has weekend nights for Lake View Studio cheaper than Standard View for much of the year - can this be right?

The point calculator seems to use the same values as the chart.

Now personally, we already do things like day to day booking at the 11 month mark, so would easily spend 5 weeknights in a standard view then move to a lake view for the weekend. Less points, better view.

Theoretically, for each person who does this there is potentially someone who wants a week of lake view and may have to switch to a standard view on the weekend because anal-compulsive bookers (like me) have done what I've described.

Then again, maybe it is just an error.

So, are you saying that our unofficial presales (aka getting the paperwork ready to file on Sunday) is the only opportunity before the general public? Or member sales begin Sept 21st and General public on Sept 28th?

No, general sales are scheduled to begin on October 5, 2008 - so DVC member will have a 2 week head-start beginning on September 21.
