I dropped by the Contemporary Resort today to snap a few pictures of my new home resort - Bay Lake Tower. It's coming along nicely!

Thanks.... DVC Mike great pics
I have to say that it's growing on me.
Do you think that you will need to be a dvc guest of the tower to
watch the fireworks from that top spot? or maybe will they open it to dvc guest
staying on property ???

Or maybe a Wishes Dinner package ???

It's a lounge, not a restaurant. There is going to be very limited access to the viewing area. No real specifics have been announced. I do expect that you will have to be staying at BLT to have any access to it.

According to my guide, you must be a DVC member staying at BLT in order to be able to visit the Top of the World Lounge.

What is that white reflection in the 2nd and 4th pics?

Tell me that building isn't leaning...

Just kidding :rotfl: Thanks for the pics. It looks amazing with all that scaffolding, it's like a superstructure unto it'self. Hope you're having a great time. :thumbsup2

I know where the lounge is, but what are the 2 circular "tips" on either side? Part of top floor grand villas? Top of stairwells? Any one know fo' sure?

Great pictures, Mike! Thanks much! It looks like they got quite a bit more done since we last saw it in September.

It is designed that way to tilt the Magic Kingdom View rooms towards the fireworks. :lmao:

From the above perspective it looks like the bridge to the Contemporary has more than one level. I know it's just an illusion......or my old eyes!. :)

Here's a shot I took from the Ferry today crossing over Seven Seas Lagoon to the MK.

I believe it is just the sun's reflection off of the air infiltration barrier (Tyvek).
