Wonderful News!!!! I'm happy they listened and are fixing this issue.
Kudos to DVD for doing the right thing and allowing the founders to show their tiles with pride. I didn't want to show ours because it was rusty.
I am so glad to hear that!!!
Ours has been rusty and missing color since 2 days after BLT opened. Every time it gets repainted and "sealed" it just rusts up and loses the color again
I am glad to hear this. Thanks for posting. We are not owners, but when we visited last spring I noticed how bad it looked and was glad we didn't have a tile.
Sorry I did not take any pictures. I took about 3 days to redo it. The finished product looks beautiful. The work crew was sloppy and left tiles all over after they were done each night. We picked up a few scrap peices and now we have a piece of BLT sitting on our dresser.

Yes, many things at BLT are undergoing refurb. The bridge(skywalk) had to be reinforced (significantly), the studios are being redesigned to put locks on the bathroom doors and put the sink in the bathroom instead of in the kitchenette, the hardware is being replaced in the tub area due to substandard materials that rust, the rainshower in the 1 bdr are being removed because they dripped, and the rusty founding tiles on the Tempo fountain were replaced in the last week.
I guess stainless steel, was not in the original budget.
