We have had to change our dates due to family emergency. So our new dates both are available the only problem is I want to do BWV and DH wants to do BLT. So which would you do? Would you consider doing a split stay? It would be 2 adults only.

TIA

Have you stayed at both resorts before? How long is your trip? I personally would choose BWV over BLT, but that's because I spend more time in Epcot than MK and enjoy the Boardwalk and Crescent Lake area more than the monorail loop. Depending on how long your trip is, a split stay could be nice.

I own at both...so obviously love them both. I'm not like most here. I have no issue with the size of the BLT studios. I actually think there's more storage in them than at other DVC studios! I love the ease of getting to MK!
But, if you plan to spend the most time at Epcot, then BWVs are the way to go. The area is terrific!

With 2 adults a split stay isn't inconvenient (no Naptime to worry about etc).

How long are you going for? What do you plan on doing? Are you focusing on a specific park?

We haven't stayed in either one before. We normally do OKW or AKL just want to try something different. We are going for a week in September. We want to do a rope drop at one of the parks, try a few different restaurants, and La Nouba. Not really focused on a specific park.

If you are planning on being there any time starting Sept 14th and are interested in Food & Wine, then for me it would be BWV absolutely. And it's easy access to Epcot and HS. Otherwise, I would do BLT. We own there and don't mind the size of the studios, since it's just two of us.

With 2 of you it's a good chance to do a split stay and try them both. I'd do it!

Which one of you is more high maintenance? My husband is so I would go with his preference. Lol no matter which you choose it's a win win..

What's your favorite park?

I would personally find rope drop for MK more fun. Thus, I would choose BLT.

In terms of restaurants, both locations are awesome for eating. BLT might be more of a draw bc of the additional monorail restaurants.

However, you can't go wrong with bwv either. Split, I say!!

Thank you for all the responses. We have decided on a split stay. Here's to hoping that Food & Wine and MNSSHP will be going on when we go.

We have stayed at both. BLT was great with kids as we walked to the Magic Kingdom almost daily after taking a short break at the hotel. BWV was perfect for us for a no kids trip. We were in Epcot almost daily.

We love them both. If you are going during F&W then def. go BWV, otherwise, you cant go wrong with either

I was going to recommend the split but I see you have already decided on that. We did that split a few years ago and loved being able to walk to 3 out of the 4 parks!
