BLT or AKV studio?

Hello,

I'm traveling with some 3 friend in Feb 2010. I don't have enough points for a one bedroom. So we are going with a studio, but don't want OKW even though it has the two queen beds.

We're all loving the look of BLT, we love the style and we won't be in the room much anyway.

Previously the 4 of us have stayed at CBR and WL before I bought DVC so we're used to staying 4 of us to one room.

Do you think that the BLT studio will be too cramped? We really love the location and the decor. Or would AKV be better? Both are open according to MS this afternoon. We can get a Bay Lake view.

AKV Jambo studios, any sort, will have two sinks in the dressing area, and I think that's nice. There's also the kitchenette sink. I just say that because in BLT, the kitchenette sink and the bathroom sink are in the same room. I do not think you can easily have 2 people in that area at the same time.

I know that I would pick AKV, and that's what I would recommend. Yet, you say you love the look and style of BLT, and you're used to all traveling together, then I can see you giving BLT a try. How long a stay?

We'll be there for a week. We're used to traveling together and have been friends since kindergarten!

In my opinion the BLT studio is an architectural disaster. Not enough space to make it right, so they made do. And that do turned out to be a don't.

OKW would be my choice, but if you are thinking between BLT and AKV, go with AKV.

I agree! Particularly for FOUR adults. All the pictures I've seen show the sofa bed against the curtains. Translation...when it's opened up, one person has to literally crawl across the bed to get out. Three adults could make it work, but I don't think four can. You would be REALLY cozy.

The AKV studio is a little bit bigger. Even the pictures show more space on the other side of the sofa bed. The kitchen/bathroom layout is better, too. With a different layout, and just a little bit bigger, it may "feel" much bigger, if that makes sense.

Look at pictures and floorplans, and that may help you decide. Good luck and have a lot of fun!
