BLT LV studio pics...anyone?

Just booked a BLT LV Studio for December at 7 months!. We thought we would never be able to do that! Would anyone have any pics to share of the view? Just wondering...do all DVC rooms have balconies, too? Thanks...we are SOOO excited as we cross another DVC hotel off our list! We just love them all so much! an are loving our DVC experiences!

BLT Lake view rooms are all over the entire resort. If you think of BLT as a giant letter C... the MK view rooms are on the outside of the curve, right in the center. The lake view rooms are on the outside of the C at the top and bottom of the C, and all along the inside of the C.

Congratulations!!!

We loved BLT 1BR LV last December. Great for access to MK at Christmas time. When we went to TOTWL, we thought the fireworks were noticably better on nights they had MVMCP.

This was our "lake view." We aren't "view" people, so I really didn't care one way or the other, but the lake was only visible when leaning around to the left...certainly not what I was expecting. Anyway, here ya go:

WOW.... everyone thanks for taking time out and posting pics of your BLT's views. We will be happy with any one of those views! They are all great! Really....we are just so happy to be able to stay there over Christmas 2010! We cannot wait!

BLT should have an additional category of view rooms to split the bay lake views on the outside with the ones on the inside facing the pool. We stayed there and had specifically requested to stay on a high floor, on the outside, facing north. We were placed in the middle (9th floor) facing the pool. The rooms facing the pool have over half of the view blocked by other rooms. We spent the last four days of our vacation staring at other people on balconies, in various stages of disrobement. We tried to get a MK view, but those had been booked solid from the first day of the seven month booking period for non BLT owners. If DVC had a specific category, I would have either been guaranteed the view I wanted, or would have known I would be getting a pool view and would not have been disappointed. I would have been willing to use more points for the additional view. My advice would be if you cannot get a MK view, don’t bother with a bay lake view. If you get stuck on the inside, your view would be just as good, if not better with a standard view. We were also supposed to be in a 2BR lock off, but got a dedicated 2BR. When we complained, we were told by the CM, “You can see the bay. You’re in a two bedroom. You got what you paid for.” If enough people complain about this, DVC might actually do something about it.

We took our first DVC stay back in March and I too requested high floor on the outside north tower (crossing my fingers and hoping for i believe it was 8410 or 8412) I received room 8411 yes on the inside directly across the hall from the room I soooooo desired so i kinda pouted a little and then
realized I was on the 14th floor the view was pretty darn nice and even at that busy time it's not like people where on there balconies much at liest when i was ----I didn't think i would care that much either way about this place ,my husband got it for us as a surprise but I LOVED IT _LOCATION LOCATION -
our first night we got in late and to be able to walk over to MK ride my favorite space 2x right before closing and walk back all within I'd say an hour and 15 minutes then stand up in that nice breeze on the lounge patio it was very nice ,Maybe because i didn.t have huge expectations but i got over not getting the perfect room pretty quick the room i got was nice very close to exactly what I asked for after all a request is just a request .
Oh when I was checking in the staff was great -although there was a computer problem so it took about a hour after the first 15 minutes they had me go sit down after 20 they came over and explained things and comped my room 50.00 (we used it for refillable mugs )after 35 they told me what my room would be and gave my 1 temp room key so i could put my stuff away and also gave us each 1 two day hopper -I wasn't crabby ,i didn't ask for anything and yes i was put out but not too badly and the CM and manager where vey apologetic and friendly -I did have the furniture boo boo's and wear that shouldn't be there yet- the pool was very crowded but i went to CR it was nice and not crowded at all -
