BLT LE Pins

We purchased BLT back in October and was excited to hear they would be selling a BLT pin this month. We will be at SSR in a week and planned on tripping over to the Contemporary to get one.
Then i saw the lines in the photos waiting to get them at the Contemporary gift shop!

Any ideas if they are still available? I won't be there until August 17th!

There were only 300 of those pins made. I would guess that they are already sold out or will be very soon.

I saw on another thread under "Collectibles" that the pins sold out by noon. In facts I checked on Ebay and two of the pins are listed on separate listings. Both as Buy it Now items (one listed for $99.99 and the other $89.99) And I know one of them has been listed there since August 5th.

I would expect that another pin will be for sale soon as we always get a resort pin everywhere we stay. I just wish it was the first issued pin. Sigh.

Don't know the only pin shown on the Official Disney Pin website is the LE pin. Since it's the official logo of BLT I don't know how they'll change it. Add Mickey or something?

Does anyone else have experiences with the first pin issued at another DVC resort?

If they do release a resort pin, it would have to be a different design. It would defeat the purpose of a LE pin if they release a regular edition pin with the same design.

I should have used the word similar not the same. Obviously, it would be foolish to release the same design. The back of the pin stating limited edition of 300 would be the only difference then. What I am really looking for is if the design will be similar or if anyone has seen or heard about a completely different design.
