BLT lake view with monorail view?

Booked lake view bc standard was not available. Just called to wait list for standard and request monorail view for my kids. The cm said that you can't get monorail view with lake view. I'm thinking that you can if you have a room on an end. Has anyone ever had a lake view with views of the monorails? Just curious. We will be happy with nearly any room, but monorail view is the icing on the cake.

Some outer-ring standard and all MK view rooms can see the monorail. Only Lake View rooms that can do so are some on the south wall of BLT, which mainly faces Epcot, but some face toward Contemporary. It is those that face Contemporary that can see parts of the monorail but truthfully those are among the least desirable Lake View rooms because they mainly look directly at Contemporary and thus your main view is of the side of a building.

We didnt mind the views at all....we were the first room around the corner from the elevator that takes you to the skybridge...(one floor up)

Nice views! We stayed with a MK view last fall... my daughter loved watching the Monorails go by as much as seeing the Park!

We just stayed in a great 1 bedroom villa that had a direct view of the Contemporary pool, the marina, and you could also see the monorail. Last year, we had a villa on the other side of BLT with a view of Bay Lake, and the MK. Of the 2 villas, we preferred the view of the Contemporary pool. We first thought we wouldn't like the view, but ended up loving it. Not everyone considers a view of the Contemporary substandard!

I will be there in 2 weeks...that is the veiw i would love to have...i did request south even numbered room...I do have a lakeveiw room...

would that be correct ?

Yes that is correct.....our room number was 8032....
