so it was great yesterday to see all the blogs photos videos but i havent seen a thing on the one item everyones been dying to see.....what is the fireworks experience like at the top of BLT.

I thought i read something about checking availability at the front desk the day you want to view fireworks?

hows the view?

hows the sound system?

is it extremely crowded?

if you got it, did you have to get in early to get a spot?

Maybe nobody from the DIS was able to get into the lounge? Or maybe no one had the MK view rooms.

Or maybe there were no fireworks last night????? Does anyone know?

I was surprised we had not seen a report on this already also. If nothing else, I thought maybe some pictures with views from the Observation Deck during the day. I can't get enough of the reports being posted and am just really surprised there haven't been more.

I was there opening night...we were at the fireworks at the TOW lounge.

Sound system is nice, speakers every few feet... view was spectacular. They shut most of the lighting in the TOW during the fireworks too....

We have been there the past 2 nights. I have got to say, the view is spectacular! The CMs there are wonderful. Please, please, any DVC members who are staying here now, come up and visit! We thought it was going to be insanely busy and we wouldn't have a chance to get in, what with the first come first serve access. However, I think that has scared everyone away. For us it has been an wonderful private lounge. However, if we don't use it I'm afraid we're going to lose it!

They have done a super job of the lounge area. Please visit! Soon! And tell Brucie and Mike we said hi. They're the resident "liquid chefs" and boy do they know their stuff. Our favorite drink is the Brucie. Yum.

We stayed at BLT the first night also for our last night of the trip. and you are right. We were afraid it will get too crowded up there and didn't want to risk stuck in the lobby and not be able to see the firework at all, we opted watching it in the park.

The TOW check-in podium in the lobby with the big rack of buzzer/pagers scared me off!!

Sadly my camera is Craptacular at night shots.....

I was thinking that might be why we haven't seen any photos yet. Those who did take shot may not feel the turned out good enough to share but I don't care about quality, its more to see what it looks like. we have seen day shots but no night time shots. Hopefully someone soon will be confident enough to post anything they got. No judging on quality from me.

video by Jack Spence

also has water pageant video at the end of clip. Not sure if he used the Wishes CD for the Audio of if this is what was coming out of the speaks

If its from opening night then I do not believe its the actual audio...they didnt flip the audio on the deck on right away....we heard it was on at the CR obs deck for 15 or 20 second at least before they flipped the switch on over at BLT... of course its all new to the Cast Members too! The water pageant audio sounds like it was real though...

I know the quality of fireworks have steadily decreased over the years, but holy smokes the finale seemed a little weak..
Perhaps it was just the video??
