BLT discounts

We are considering staying at one of the villas at BLT in October 2013 and were wondering IF they offer free dinning or a discount do they offer them for the villas too? We are new to deluxe resorts so I was not sure!

This was us as well only with a 40% off code in 2010. We also had a 1br and it was great especially with 2 15 year old's. You are absolutely correct, what a great discount. Haven't received a pin code yet for this June at BLT but there is still hope. We received our pin code in February of 2010.

Loved, loved loved it. This is why we are staying there again. The walk to MK is maybe 5 minutes and that to us is priceless. It will definitely come in handy if you have little ones and need to leave to bring them back for naps or just to relax. We love the CR but going to BLT is nice and quite the way we like it. Another nice thing about the villa's is the space for everyone, the full kitchen and the washer and dryer. Going home with clean clothes is priceless as well. We can't wait to go back.

We stayed there in 2010 with a 40% PIN also. Worth every penny spent on that 1 BR. The monorail and option to walk to MK is priceless especially since we have two small children. So convenient for afternoon nap/rest! We got another 40% PIN for 2011. Sadly we didn't make use of it. We are planning to go again this May and so far I have just received a 10% PIN. We are tempted to use it because none of the other discounts this year for BLT in May are greater and we really want to stay there.

You may want to check out the DVC boards. You could rent points for BLT if there is no discounts available. Love BLT my kids favorite resort. You can't beat walking to MK.

I have a question, if you rent points can you go up to the top of the towers and observe the fireworks? or do you have to go to level 4 of CR? How crowded is CR?

I do believe that you need to be a DVC member staying at BLT in order to access the TOTWL as you would need to show the CM your DVC membership card or you are staying with a DVC member who is staying at BLT. But you would need to go with the DVC member. If I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me.

The observation deck could get crowded at times but if you get there early enough you shouldn't have a problem. Below is a picture of the OD at the CR 4th floor. You will see the chairs all the way in the back just under the monorail.

I have seen Bay Lake Tower available on such discounts like Annual Pass rates and general public room only discounts.

We checked in on opening day (2009) with a buy 4 nights get 3 free deal. We loved it so much that we bought points there. It is my favorite!

However, I think as more of the points for the resort are purchased, less of the inventory is available through CRO. I have noticed a decline in the number of available discounts for BLT.

Renting points is always a good option. You would have to get a really good discount to match it.
