BLT - Dedicated 2BR MK View - Who has stayed in room number...

xx16 or xx22 or xx24 or xx30


I have a 2BR Dedicated MK view booked for the end of May. It is my first trip home to BLT. For those of you that have visited already, can you answer some questions?

What were your impressions? How was the view? How close/far away from the elevator where you? Would you stay in this room again? Do you have any pictures to share?

We stayed in a 2 bedroom dedicated MK view in December. Originally we were assigned room 8230 as we got our high floor request. We were disappointed in the view as MK is all the way to the right and was not visible from the living room. Fortunately, they were able to switch us to room 7816 which had an incredible view of MK. Definitely try to avoid xx30 rooms. I believe xx16 rooms will be your best view and than xx22 and xx24. In my opinion I would rather be on a lower floor at XX16 than a higher floor xx30.

work2play's thread on BLT rooms and views may have some of the information you are looking for (see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082). In her first post, work2play has a long list showing those villas in which people have commented about and/or posted photos.

I agree with disney0505 that there is an advantage to having a room ending in xx16 versus xx30. Due to the curvature of BLT's front, the xx30 villas have more of a southwest view, while the xx16 have more of a northwest view. Since MK lies to the northwest of BLT, you get a little better head on view of MK if you are in xx16. Earlier this month we were in #8028, an MK view studio located on the 10th floor. We couldn't see the Castle from our bed, but we could see everything from our balcony.

Yeah, I have been on that thread. I wanted to get feedback specifically for this room typy. Seems like there is a lot of feedback on that post for LV and Std View. Some feedback on the rooms xx30.

I stayed in 7216 which is a standard view room, but looked out onto MK quite nicely.
