BLT Availability in Oct?

Is there any way to find out current availability at BLT for a set of dates in Oct using points even if we arent DVC members yet? We're seriously considering buying in but might not be in as big a hurry if there is no availability at our home resort for this year buying in now.

I tried calling our guide but maybe she's out for the day already. Wondered if a current member here might be able to help.

The dates we're considering are 10/6 - 10/13 - looking for a 1 bedroom - view doesn't matter but would probably prefer lake or standard view.

Don't call your guide and tell them that unless you mean it. I'd be willing to bet they can find you a room in Oct. for BLT if that was a stipulation of your buying.

I agree! If you really want to buy in to BLT but only if there is a room, that is what I would tell the guide. The more points they sell, the more inventory that will open up which gives you a good chance of getting what you want!

When I added on at BLT last month, I had him check for SSR availability for the developer points since I already had an August trip planned to the Contemporary via cash and was only going to add on if I could benefit from the Developer Points.

He called back to say that I would be able to book what I needed. Now I own 115 points at BLT and am REALLY happy!!!!!!

really think you should be able to get BLT for a few years at least.

it is not selling like DVC though it would.

Good advice guys - I will keep that in mind when we make up our minds - right now we're trying to decide if we want to buy with the current incentives or if we want to hold out and see if something juicier comes along in that dept once the current incentives expire!
