BLT and watching fireworks

We are going to book a 1 Bdr standard or lake view at BLT and just wondering where is the best place for us to go relax and watch fireworks? Never been to BLT so this will be our first visit to that resort. Thanks for the info!

We just got back a few days ago and had a Bay Lake view. We took the kids to the Top of the World Lounge to watch the fireworks, but they were all scared by the loud noise (the oldest is only 5). So instead, we got them in the pjs and watched them from the elevator waiting area on our floor. The noise was not as loud as we were inside. They then went to bed and we would grab a drink and sit on the balcony to watch the Epcot fireworks in the distance. ENjoy!

Are you a DVC member staying on points? If so, you can go up to the Top of the World lounge to watch them.

If not, then your options are the skybridge or the 4th floor of the CR.

you can also go to the 15th floor north elevators - this is not a big area -

that say some of the standard views have MK views - north side - there is a service area which is why these are standard. straight ahead is the tennis court - mk is to your left, bl is to your right.

in your room you can listen to the music while you watch the fireworks.

of course my favorite is top of the world - love it!!!

that say it is not designed for little kids - the wall is too tall and no place for little ones to see thru the wall. they are better off in your room - besides the 1-bedroom has that great area to watch the fireworks w/o the noise. just make sure the balcony door is closed.

Yes we are, thanks for the info. Might have to tuck the kids in early and head up there some night just the wife and me. Looking forward to it.

Where are the BLT Standard View rooms? lower levels below 5th floor, facing the tennis courts, Contemporary, other?
