BLT and toddler proofing

Thanks for all the responses. I have outlet covers and corner covers packed and will check this thread again before we go. Thanks again! :flower3:

I can't find the photo we took of the child safety lock on the balcony door but it's a second lock about 8 inches above the standard lock. It turns left and right just like the regular and I think one turn right to unlock and the other turns left. I can never remember which is which.

I never had this problem, but then, my kids were not allowed to jump on furniture either. Nope not even the beds. I bought a trampoline, and we did lots of outdoor stuff and indoor stuff and they know the difference.
I too always brought outlet covers, plus things to play with in the pen only. that gave me a few min to get dressed and stuff. No balconies until kids are old enough to catch a swat on the leg. one is usually sufficient after the 2 warnings for climbing on balconies, bookshelves, beds, and pulling chairs over to reach something.
When the kids were1-3 or 4 we stayed at OKW and BWV Those sliders out to the balconies are off living room and each bedroom, can't be two places at a time, and the lock is only as good as the last person through the door... I wouldn't stay there, period. But then, I'm probably a bit over cautious. 20 years as a hosp nurse, floating in and out of the ER is a good teacher.
The most important thing I learned, Don't take your eyes off little ones for a min. is NOT an old saying! It's the law. If it were me, I'd change my reservation to OKW, BWV, or a ground floor unit. IMHO of course.
