I was supposed to have my driving test today at 1.33 and the DVLA cancelled it becasue of the compacted snow on the road that was icy. I don't know whether to feel relieved or upset. I have to wait for them now to fix me a new date...my nerves will never stand it LOL

Sam, what a bummer. I love snow and I'm so disappointed that we just don't seem to get it these days. It snowed quite heavily just 15 miles south of Gloucester yesterday, but we only got a smattering. Still, I wouldn't want it on the day I was supposed to be having my driving test.

Oh Sam, never mind.......at least you didn't have to drive in the scary snow, I don't like driving in it myself, I alway's seem to find the ice!!

I remember those test driving days.....oh yes, I did it more than once and in the middle of a bigger city than NYC, I did it in Barcelona , my nerves were shot two days before the test! Good luck Penny, if I did it , you can do it too!

What a pain! You get all geared up (sorry no pun intended!!) for a test and then it's cancelled!

The rain today has washed away our snow - sounds like you had more than us Sam.

Steph, I think it looks beautiful when it's fresh, but I get very nervous about driving in snowy conditions!
