Im just curious :) I have really low blood pressure which is great most of the time but bad when in Labour. When I was having Kaylee they had to give me several shots of epinephrine because it was too low and I was drifting in and out . I checked mine this morning and it was 100 over 63.
So how about you? Low or high?

Mine is usually high. I take blood pressure medicine so usually runs around 140s/100s. It used to be low until I had my first dd and then it skyrocketed

High :(

I don't recall exactly HOW high it was before I went on meds - something like 150 or 160 over 100. :(

But since I have been on my meds, it has been good. :)

High blood pressure runs in my mother's family. Her mother and aunt had it, her brother has it, my mother has it, my brother has it, and now I have it too. :( (Everyone but me are of normal weight too.)

I know that you probably suffer from lightheadedness sometimes due to your low pressure, but you should still thank God for it. We who have high blood pressure are subject to stroke and kidney problems. As a matter of fact, my uncle, 60 years old, just went blind in one eye due to high blood pressure that SUPPOSEDLY was under control. :( (He is being treated and has had some vision return in that eye - thank God!)

Mine generally runs in the normal range. Usually about 115/75.

I am grateful for the low blood pressure and yore right I do get lightheaded but its a trade off Ill take :)

It lessens my risk of heart disease too so I will do anything for that.

mine fluctuates from low to average. my mom's whole family has low bp and are all on medication for it. the have actually had doctors tell them to eat more salt. :p

Mine also fluctuates from low to average. I also have problems being lightheaded at times, which I hate. It's better than being high, though.

Mine is low. I've had nurses take it several times because they think they have taken it wrong. They almost always ask if it's normally low. I'll take low over high any day.

Very low. It was just 92 over 60 last week.

It's never a problem except with surgery and I do get light-headed on rare occasions.

Mine used to always be low to average as a side effect of one of my migraine prevention drugs. Now I'm off of that drug and my blood pressure is average to moderately high due to side effects of another drug and pain according to my doctor. I also have a family history of high blood pressure though so I have to keep an eye on it.

mine used to run around 110/60. Then I got pregnant...ever since its run higher than normal. While pregnant I was on bedrest and as long as I was laying down my bp would stay down.

Low to average...... I tend to get woozy if I am bent down and stand up fast.

Mine's usually low to average (110/70 range). I've needed smelling salts on a few occasions when I've had blood taken or an I.V. started because my BP dropped so low. I'm really lucky to have it low though because heart disease runs on both sides of my family.

I have extreamly low blood pressure.. and am being sent to a cardiologist next week for a full work up.

I run about 60/40.... the nurse was a little scared when she took it and kept asking if I felt ok.

Mine is normally on the low side of average, but I also had very low bp while in labor. The nurses acted like they had never seen that before, since high bp is a much more common reaction to pain. The anesthesiologist didn't look and see what my bp was running before he administered the epidural, and then he kind of freaked out when saw how low it was. But they just put a clamp on the bag of fluids they were giving me to speed up the drip and they also put a warmer on the bag, and I was able to at least get it up to where it had been before the epidural.

Mine used to be normal, but at last checkup it was now high, and the nurse warned me that I better deal with it, probably have meds in my future. :(

My dad always had high blood pressure and on meds. Guess it runs in the family.
