Wow, people get way too worked up over something as silly as calling a dumb moment a blonda moment! Get over yourselves! I'm naturally blonde. But my hair has also been brown, black, red, half red and half bleach blonde, pink, and blue. So I have no issues with hair color or any of the jokes people can come up with. If you can't relax and laugh at your self a little, who CAN you laugh at?!?!?

Anyways... for my "_____ moment" I've had planty of these moments! I think my favorite was at the beginning ot this past school year. My best friend and I decided that as Juniors we wanted to have a little responsibility. Se we wanted to join the Best Buddies club (a club that helps students with mental disabilities). So we went to the first meeting and were asked to fill out registration forms. I took one look at the form, and had to ask my friend how to spell my own name, and how old I was. Everyone started laughing and we never went back!

More moments of mine...

1] I constantly walk into walls in my house. And we've lived in this house since I was in fifth grade, and I'm a senior now!

2] I'll be talking to my boyfriend on my cell, while typing on the computer at the same time and start typing what im saying, and saying what I'm typing.

3] This one wasn't my moment, it was my sister's, but I still feel it needs to be shared. We were at JC Penny's one day, just walkin around acting stupid. And you know those big mirrors that have like 3 mirrors hooked together so you can see more angles and everything? My sister ran straight head-on into one of those. When I asked hr about it, she said sh thought it was a hallway!!

in saratoga springs in wdw last october my mom, dad, grandma and grandpa and i stayed in the grand villa but my sister and her friend [20 at the time] sayed in the next room size down. well in the bathroom they had mirrors everywhere that we're like full sized and i didnt see it was a mirror so i ran into one thinking it was an exit. that hurt lol.

also; we have two parts of our bathroom, there's the shower/toilet and then the next one has the sinks, and stuff but my sister sometimes forget's to open the door in the middle of the two parts so during the night i had to go to the bathroom and i was so tired that i didn't see the door was shut so i walked right into it.

another one was our power went out on day over the summer, and i was hyper, and my sister was chasing me around the house, cause i had something of hers and i ran up the stairs and ran down the hall way and couldn't stop in enough time and her door to her bedroom was shut and i ran into her door and my knee went right through it.

No. That's singling out one person. And that's rude. Tinkerbelleblondie19 is not the only person posting on this thread, so you can't automatically start making fun of her. People are just sticking with a term that has been used for years, that I'm sure they were taught by their parents or friends. If you don't like it, don't post on this thread. No one really cares whather or not you like the phrases they use or they words they choose. Who are you to decide what we should call our "blonde/dumb/stupid/whatever" moments? Don't like it? At WDW this past time, My family and I stayed at the Boardwalks conceierge(Inn Keepers Club). Well, my sister and I forgot the key to get back there. So me and my sister is running down the hallway to the In Keepers Club and i ran right into one of the cleaning carts and fell back.


Also this past year(only i was at Clearwater beach for this one) I was going upstairs to the room just coming back from the pool. So i get on the elevator and i wanted to press every single button so i did. Then this family got on with me right when the doors where closing they stoped it and came on. The father looks at me and goes "why did u push all of the buttons" and i reply with "I am on vacation and I am a kid at heart." right when i was finishing that sentence i sliped and fell in the elevator right onto my butt. It hurt really bad

Okay, that made me think of another one that I did when i was in 6th grade. I wasn't always the brightest kid. I liked to do really stupid stuff that I thought was cool(most of it was). So i put on a pair of roller blades and there is this HUDGE hill on my street. So me being the smart 6th grader I was, I went down the hill with the roller blades on. About half way down I was like Oh my how am i going to stop this? So what i thought was i would just keep going till the bottom of the hill and slow down then. I was very wrong. I had a friend film the whole thing. I get to the bottom of the hill, where it meets a street. What happened was I fell in the middle of the street and i shattered my tailbone. Like I said, it was all on film. I know it sounds painful(and it was) but when i look back on it know i think it is sooo dumb for me to do that.

i wanna say i did something like that when i was younger but i cant remember for sure.

i love pushing all the elevator buttons. on a disney cruise when i was 9 i met a friend on it and me and her used to push all the buttons then just sit. haha. then one time we got off at like an employee only part of the ship and got lost, it scared us so bad. lol.

I'm just so fed up with everyone making fun of us. And no we can't just not read it. If it had said "Brunettes Moments" and you were brunette, would you just casually skip by the thread? No. You might as well say "Mexican moments" or "French moments" IMHO.

i wrote 'blonde' in those little quote things meaning thats just what people have called them for years. i didnt mean it to imply to anyone. and i certainly didnt mean for it to be hurtful. i just thought it would be fun to hear different peoples stories. mostly everyone heres had a fun time with it.

have you not seen those commercials for hair color dye, with the blondes, brunettes going back and fourth 'competeing' (i have no clue how to spell that) saying how their hair colors better then the other? i guess we should sue them... cause thats 'discrimination'.

Hahaha you make me laugh!! As I've said before, my hair has bed maany different colors, and there's no hair color jokes that offend me. I know tons of people who are blonde, and usually THEY are the ones making the blonde jokes. So go ahead, call them "Brunnette Moments" or "Red-head Moments" or whatever else you want to call them. For all I care you can name them after me and call the "Brittney Moments" Get over your self. Like I said in my last post, dont like it, DONT READ IT!!

Well, nobody is saying that blondes specifically are stupid or dumb. Thats how it was just developed and today we use it as a normal phrase. I don't particularly think that anyone who is blonde is dumb but thats how people describe these moments so thats how I am going to describe them.
