'blonde' moments ... ?

has anyone ever had a 'blonde' moment.

i had one tonight, i was at the gas station and i saw this package of something and it had a sign and it said ice melt and i asked my mom what ice melt was and she said its something that melted ice. haha i totally did not think of that. and i probably sound really stupid right now. but yeah. haha.

yea, I used to get made fun of alot for being 'blonde' or 'slow' But I have gotten better since my freshman year. People stil kinda make fun of me But I don't say that many stupid things anymore so they don't have anything to make fun of. although the other day I was watching beauty and the geek and they asked which weighed more a pound of feathers or a pound of gold and I said gold. really big blonde moment there.

Oh, I've had too many to count. I think it's cause I have every shade of blonde that exists in my hair. It's honey blonde with golden highlights for the most part, but I have a couple strawberry and platinum spots in there if you search for em.

Classic blonde moment that I'll never live down:

I get in the car and "One Last Breath" by Creed came on the radio. And I'm like, Hey! It's the pool song! Cause it came on every time we hung out in our pool. And my parents are like what? And I'm like, the pool song! It comes on every time we go out to the pool! And my mom's like, that's because we have the cd.

Oh and at Macaroni Grill, all the lightbulbs on strings.

"That light looks just like a lightbulb!"

My best blonde momnent was while me and my best friend was watching the Ohio State..Michigan..Football game. There was this play one of the teams did and my friend goes "Becly, Did you see that" and i said "No, I was to busey looking." I was looking right at the tv and i saw the play but just didn't think about what my friend said to me.

I don't like the stereotype that all blondes are dumb. You say oh it's just a joke, we didn't mean it - then like, Thumper said, If you don't have anything nice to say don't say it. It's the same as straight up calling us stupid. It's all stereotyping in the end and it hurts people.

So instead of calling it a blonde moment, and you think blondes are dumb, you can just call yourself dumb.

If u take it wrong then don't even bother reading this post. All we are doing is seeing when other people have felt stupid. People have been calling it a blonde moment for a long time. I also think that most non blonde people have the "blonde moments". It's not stereotuping. You are taking it way to personally and you need to chill and take a joke. I really doubt that people think that blondes are dumb. You can go ahead and call all of us dumb when we are just trying to have some fun. good luck getting anywhere in life without a simple sense of humor.

I also have had another dumb moment. This happened the same weekend but this one was Sunday. The day for the Browns vs. Steelers game. I was at the same girls house and our friend that really LOVES the Steelers called. I was just coming from the restroom and my friend throws me the phone and says 'Here Becky, Talk to Hailey." So what i did, i looked at the phone without putting it to my ear and said "Hello." I thought something was wrong and i yell, "Oh my gosh Carrie! The phone doesn't work!!" Then she says "How about you put the phone to your ear. That's the was a phone works. To put it to your ear and not stand there and scream at it." I thought that was another good one i have had..

wow okay, i didn't mean it in a mean way. everyone has moments like these sometime in their life and its just a place to share them. most of the time its fun looking back on them. and i agree with everything becky wrote.

I am a brunette with many blonde moments

Yesterday I lost my favorite pair of earrings and about an hour later my mom said "Aren't those it on your ears" I forgot I was wearing them.

Last week I locked the car keys in the car and we waited 30 minutes for my dad to come to the parking lot the car was and bring an extra key.

I frequently leave my cell phone on in my bag while at school. Luckily it never rings while in class.

I space out sometimes.....

when we had gym last year in school i was changing and my phone dropped out of my pocket and i acidentally stepped on something and it made the volume turn up without realizing it.. so in social studies someone texted me and it played the barbie girl song haha. thankfully my teacher has major hearing problems so he didnt hear it but everyone got a kick out of it

I'm not even blonde!!!!!! and I have moments like these all the time! and I'm always looking for the butter at breakfast and I can never see it but It's ALWAYS right in front of me. ALWAYS, EVERY SINGLE MORNING!
