I've been wanting to start writing again as a hobby so I decided to start a blog with practical tips for families travelling to DW with young children. It's meant for those planning their first trip. Feel free to check it out and comment on future topics you think I should write about that may be useful to first timers. Www.canadiandisneymommy.com

It was really nice reading your blog:) just had a baby this year in March and can't wait to take her to Disney World!! Trying to convince DH to go the December before her 3rd birthday lol thanks for the info!

I just read some of your Blog! Great job! :thumbsup2. My main question recently has been about Character Breakfasts. I don't know if you covered that yet....but it definitely seems like its something that parents w young children love to do! :mickeyjum:donald::tigger:

My son is 13 months and has gone 3 times. I love it and we bought AP'a this year. He has loved it. All the trips were good but the one before his first birthday was the best. We are taking him again at 16 months as well (last time under the APs). Go- take for son!!!

That is a great blog post idea! Thanks! Character breakfasts are very popular and also very difficult to get reservations for if you're looking last minute. I would start off with one and see how your child likes it. Some young kids can still be scared of characters so it's more traumatizing than fun...haha. But it really is a magical experience for most families.

Wow at that rate you'll be writing your own blog soon! I agree that it is never too young to take your child to disney, I think for most families the question is more how often you can afford to go! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often and utilize an AP....it comes with some great perks too!

Hi,

If anyone is interested, I just posted a new blog post with pictures of some great finds at my local Dollarama store (Canadian Co.) for my upcoming trip that I thought I would share. If you have other dollar store recommendations in your area, please share so I can add it to my blog:
