Blizzard Beach

Hi!
Does anyone know if blizzard beach will stay open for the whole year since Disney is doing the promo if you stay at a Disney resort you can go to a water park on your arrival day?

A lot of conversation about what Disney might do, but I don't think Disney has made any official announcement. All we know for sure is BB is open now, and TL will be open in the summer because they have Moonlight Magic events announced there. It sure would be nice if they got back to the pre-Covid pattern of both open during the spring and summer.

There is not enough demand for both water parks (this became very apparent when they announced this perk).
So I'd say its likely that only one will be open and they will trade off.

Nothing has been announced at this time but I agree with others and would be surprised if they keep both open at the same time. Just no need to do so.

Highly doubtful that BB (or TL) would stay open year round. The water parks do need maintenance and it just makes sense to do that while they are closed. Being local to the parks, I'd also expect that the weather affects water park attendance levels which would be why the closures typically happen in the cooler months.

The biggest challenge is that Disney uses the same staff at whichever park is open. I expect we will get more information concerning which Water park is going to be open for the next 6 months before the end of March.

really hoping that in May both are still open. I love BB and want to go rather than TL.

They will both be open only for the summer btw, at least for now. Sept. 7th was given as the end date in the announcement today.

The All Stars and CSR still have buses to Blizzard Beach when it's open. Everywhere else has to transfer at AK. I don't expect that to change really.

They bumped up hours at the beginning of this month till 6pm then to 10-7pm going into the week ending the 19th so I'd say pretty good you get at least 6pm.

@rangerxenos the brief extended hours of 10 -7 end on April 19th and go back to 10 - 5 thru May at this point.

All Stars and Cornado Springs, which makes sense due to their location. Hopefully the same will be true (really would like it to be all) this year.

Thank you, I just saw this and was coming to post! We arrive on the 23rd, we're very happy, this gives us some time without rushing around once our flights arrive and we get to the resort!
