Blizzard Beach

I don't know what to do. I have passes with the water park option because we are planning on attending MNSSHP on October 31 and we were going to go to Typhoon Lagoon that morning. My DS (7) loves the kiddie area. Well my DD saw they are closed. I called and they confirmed that it is closed October 29 to the 31. So my question is how is Blizzard Beach kiddie area is it as nice or should I just cancel the water park option and do something else that morning. Thanks.

We went to Blizzard Beach last August and really loved it! Our kids (11,8,6) all had a great time- the kiddie areas are both great and we really loved the
Teamboat Springs raft ride. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
