Hi everyone,

We are going down one week after my daughter's cast is removed. Having seen how long it took for her to be full weight bearing after cast in October (which was a walking cast), we are assuming that she will need her crutches at least part of the time. This is a non-weight bearing cast x 5 weeks so I'm expecting a lot of stiffness/atrophy making climbing hills difficult.

Is Blizzard beach doable. We've been there but I have no idea if there are alternatives to getting to the top, rather than climbing. And what would we do with the crutches on the way down.

TIA!

There is only 1 hill that has an alternate way to the top - the chairlift. Otherwise it is all on foot.

I don't know if they will let you leave the crutches at the top, slide down, and then go back to the top to retrieve them. I'm guessing not. And they definitely won't carry them down for you.

To be honest, I think I would skip blizzard beach on this trip if I was in your situation.
