My husband, my three year old son and I, are booked on a package this coming March, so we get the arrival day water park benefit if we want it. We were initially planning to arrive late enough in the day that I wasn't even considering it, but we now should be on the ground by noon or so, so we could go over in the afternoon. I would never have paid for it at his current age, but am a little tempted since it's included. Curious to hear from parents of young children on whether you think it's worthwhile (with the $0 price tag) or if a little kid in a waterpark is too stressful and we should just stay at the resort? From people who did go, what did your little kids enjoy doing? FWIW, this is a very resort heavy trip (6 nights and only two park days) so I have already baked in a lot of lounging around at our resort and other resort hopping activities after an overly jam packed trip last March. I haven't been to Blizzard Beach since I was a pre-teen myself in the early 2000s.

I watched a vlog of a mom who took 2 toddlers by herself and it seemed very doable. They seem to have an area just for toddlers. I plan to take my 3yo and 5yo this summer for our trip (it will be our first time).

There is a big toddler area at Blizzard Beach (bigger and much better than Typhoon, IMO) the lazy river is great and has rafts that little ones can sit in and you can hold on to them and even walk along next to them if you want. The wave pool is much more calm than Typhoon. I have been to the waterparks alone with three kids. You have 2 adults and 1 child. You can easily take turns if one of you wants to go on a bigger slide, and there is plenty for young kids to do. Even if you just do the little kids area, you could stay there for hours and let him play on the slides, sprinklers, and shallow water.

My 3yo (who was closer to 4) did all the big waterslides he was tall enough for. I think 3 is a good age to try it for the first time.

Blizzard Beach toddler area is GREAT! Set apart, close to anything you need, lots of seating and fun! 💦💦 1000% the $0 price tag!
