Blizzard Beach vs. Typhoon Lagoon

We will probably only have time to hit one of the water parks during our trip, which is coming up in less than a month. If you had to choose between Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, which would you choose? We have two children, ages 6 and 8, who probably won't be interested in any of the really big or fast water slides.

Many people ask this question and I always say visit both. But if you truly can't, flip a coin because they each have some unique features that the other one does not have. But in the end you will enjoy either one you go to and will not miss the one you have not seen.

OK, I can answer this two ways - I'll start by saying, MY favorite waterpark is TL. Not that it matters to you.

But if your kids aren't into the really big, crazy slides (which both parks DO have), I'd still vote TL. It's slightly tamer IMHO. And the wave pool is MUCH better.

Here's another vote for Typhoon Lagoon.

(On a side note, maybe it's just me, but each time I've been there..it just seems to be a little cleaner than Blizzard Beach also. We went to both parks twice in April).

Typhoon lagoon. They can swim with Sharks and there are still slides there too.

Either one is great and have their advantages. However, if you like/dislike sand, then that will dictate your destination. TL has lots of sand. BB has none.

We LOVE TL!! It is by far our fave. We like BB too but TL just feels so tropical and the wave pool is awesome.

I've done both and loved each of them. I think TL is great for little and medium sized kids and BB is great for the teens and adults.

Ok, I'll go the other way with BB, lol. I like TL for the wave pool, but that's it. I don't like the bumps they put on the slides! They hurt! So, we are going to BB
