Blizzard Beach Summit Plummet -- NO WAY! lol

Great video!! My boys and my DH LOVE this ride!!!! Me personally.....Never, No Way, Now How!! :goodvibes

I chickened out during our visit this past October. DH did it once and that was enough for him. My teenager, however, could not get enough. LOL We stood at the bottom for a long time while he rode it over & over.

Hi there! Oh my gosh! Once you are at the TOP of the "SUMMIT" that's when I would get second thoughts! I'm afraid of heights anyway and this is just a bit too much! LOL!!! I mean you go STRAIGHT DOWN!!! LOL! :surfweb:

I personally wouldn't do it and haven't even gotten my kids to want to try it... but I do love standing at the bottom and watching everyone else!:3dglasses

My 65yo father went down it. But me? No way!

Warning, been known to permanently join you and your swimsuit together!! Or known as the Weggie Slide.

I did it about 10 years ago....it really isn't that bad!! But I did spend the rest of my day trying to get my weggie out! I think some people sit at the end of the slide waiting for a swimming suit malfunction!! ;)

I never thought I would do this, but on our trip earlier this month, we went to Blizzard Beach and, for some reason, I got it in my head that I was going to do it!

As soon as we walked into the park I made my brother and fiance go straight to the top of the slide. I went first because I thought if I had to see either of them do it I would chicken out!

It was actually a lot of fun! The drop is over very quickly, and then it actually gets kind of painful and you just want it to be done. Previous posters are right....I didn't think I would EVER get rid of that wedgie! :rotfl2:

My youngest daughter did it in 2007 to open the park (she was Ski Captain of the Day). She was 7 at the time.

Her dad rode up to the top with her and then had to ride Summit Plummit to get back down. He was more scared than she was. Her siblings (both older and asked first but refused) waited at the bottom with a Photopass photographer. Some of my favorite photos ever.

That's a great video. I did try it this past Sept. It really isn't that bad.

I have to admit the view from the top is amazing. :cloud9: It was a pretty quiet day in October when my DS(11) made me go on this ride. It hurt my back and was quite unpleasant but didn't last long. At least I can say I didn't chicken out! My DS loved it!!!

Nope. I will ride any roller coaster or strapped in ride, even water slides with tubes, but I cannot do the free fall water slides. It isn't even that I am scared, I just do not like the feeling of free falling. I know that sounds strange since I love ToT, but to me it is just different.

I did a lot of similar slides when I was a teenager. I even went bungee jumping a few years ago. Yet now that I'm older I'm super scared of trying it. Some days I want to do it, some days I say no way. :rotfl:
