Blizzard Beach right B4 refurbishment???

We are going to WDW Oct. 19 - Oct. 25. We went last year in November and BB was closed. The family would really like to go to BB this year. My question is, will BB be really crowded the last few days B4 it closes? Anyone ever gone right B4 closing? We arrive late on the 19th, so would have to go on Thurs, Fri or Sat.

blizzard beach re-opens some time in november i believe, can't find the date
i did know it!

If i remember correctly TL closes for referb after BB re-opens so nov-dec time

I'm pretty sure that BB will be closed from Oct 23 'til about mid Dec.

It definitely closed on Oct 23rd and I too believe it will be closed until mid December. Once it re-opens, TL will then close.

We were there last year the week before BB closed. Went to the water park several times during that week. I can honestly say that we didn't notice any difference in the crowd levels from during the week and the Saturday before it closed for refurb. To summarize the experience, it was PACKED both days. Getting to the park early is the key no matter which day you pick. You can usually get quite a bit done before its too crowded.

With the new EMH at the water parks, it will be interesting to see what effect the extra hours have on the crowds.

Typhoon Lagoon is closed for rehab from sometime in November until 12/24.
Blizzard Beach closes for rehab 12/24.
