Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon???

Just looking for some thoughts as I start planning our October trip. Having never been to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon- or any water park for that matter (except River Country(may it rest in peace) eons ago- what are your thoughts on these two parks? What would be best for a mom and very adventurous daughter who will be 8?

Well, normally the answer would be: most adults prefer Typhoon Lagoon, where most kids and teens prefer Blizzard Beach. However, this year with the opening of the new water coaster (Slush n Gusher) at Typhoon Lagoon, I bet alot of those kids and teens will be changing their minds and Typhoon Lagoon will be the water park of choice. Kinda makes that small wave pool at BB sound a little better to me, now!

personaly I prefer Blizzard Beach because the theme was very cute "a christmas season every day at Disney world "and the attraction was cool but Typhoon lagoon is very good to.

DS and I like Typhoon lagoon best. Where else can you snorkel in a big aquarium?
