I have a 11yr 6 and 3yr old. I cant figure which park will be the best for the kids to enjoy...the little ones cant swim without floating devices...can they go on rides with mom and dad..thanks for you help

We went to BB last trip and while we didn't try it (my DS's swim very well) I believe even non-swimmers would have a great time. We rode some things together and quite a few things end in very little water - plus they always have a life-guard at the end to "catch" littler ones. When my younger son went down a few of the "more dangerous" slides the life guards signaled each other so they knew a littler one was coming and make sure he was ok.

We haven't been to TL yet but hopefully will be there next year. The wave pool would scare me with littler ones - it's hard to keep track of them.

Maybe someone who's been to both will help out more.

BTW (by the way) WELCOME to the DIS!!!

TL without a doubt! Wave pool is the best.

I went to TL LONG AGO! So take my words with a grain of salt.

When I went, I was little but could swim. The wave pool is fine for little ones expecially since it is a "walk in" type pool. There were tons of little ones just sitting at the walk in with their parents and they would get little waves and thought it was so fun.

Also, they can ride the lazy river with you. Other that...I really don't know!!! Sorry I am not more help.

The Lazy River at TL, brilliant, I could spend the rest of my life circling on that, superb.

Never been to BB, but we went to TL. :cool1: My dd wore swimmies. There were tons of kids wearing swimmies or life jackets or other things to help. My dd loved the little slide next to the wave pool. We went around to the kids area & she played on the slides & other things-- only inches deep here. She even played in the wave pool with us. I was surprised out how many people took their wee little ones out in the wave pool then let them go when a wave came. Lots of great life guard supervision! :)

Go to one this trip and the other on your next trip.

Since I've never been there, don't take me too seriously.. :confused3

From all the reviews and such that I've seen, I totally suggest Typhoon Lagoon (TL) for littler ones. :) Only because of certain things, though, I have NOTHING against BB (Blizzard Beach). :sunny: But I think TL would be best for the wee ones! :rotfl:

Because of things like the Lazy River and such it's a great place for them to be.

But don't take me too seriously, as I said, I have never been there!! :p
