I read that the water parks have life vests available, but are you allowed to bring your own? Heading down this weekend with two toddlers. Also does anyone know if they can wear the life vests that wrap around the stomach and have the arm bands. I know they are Coast Guard approved and allowed at my local water parks. Just wondering if anyone can tell from experience. Thanks in advance. :)

I have researched this myself and it looks like the do allow the puddlejumpers as long as you can visibly still see the coast guard approval marking on the inside of the chest band.

Hopefully somebody who has first hand knowledge can answer this.

Thanks for the responses! I called guest services and was told that you are allowed to bring your own life vests. Also, when I asked about puddle jumpers she did say they are allowed. Although, I'm not confident that she knew what I was talking about . Either way I'm sure we will have a great trip.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the puddle jumpers are allowed in the water parks. Our little ones wore theirs the whole day :)
Did you happen to notice any older children wearing life vests? My kids are 10 and 12, and not strong swimmers. Just wondering if they are going to feel odd in the wave pool or zip line area. Lol

We were just there last week and saw quite a few kids your kids' age and even older wearing life vests. I saw lots of them. Tell your kids "no worries."

Children of all ages wearing them while we were there as well. I would say you might want to bring your own though. I'm sure someone with more experience might know better than me, but it seemed like the older kids were squeezed into vests that were too small. I dont know what sizes the vests go up to. Most of the children wearing the park vests were not a correct fit. I'm sure they just had to grab whatever they could find on the rack. They will not feel out of place at all though. Most children that age that were riding slides without parents had a vest :)

Thanks! I think the only things they would use them for would be the zipline and possibly the wave pool. DD may be too tall (or too chicken!) for the zipline, so it will be a day of decision. Lol
