Blizzard beach closing 3 weeks earlier

Had just seen that BB is closing three weeks early. Wonder what they could be doing. Would love to see some updates but for Disney three weeks may just be a little more then allowing the paint to dry.

In my opinion typhoon lagoon is the better water park anyways.

Me too. I may add on at the front to be able to go before it closes.

They have tinkered with the closures alot over the years...I think it's highly unlikely that they are "adding" anything of note. Probably just an added shutdown period or reorganization of the normal maintenance schedule.

Also, the bulk of the heavily weighted college program workforce is redeployed elsewhere - notably downtown - so there's that too for flexibility.

Three weeks clearly not enough to build anything new but will say even after it reopens each year still looks undone. Was there the week TL opened last year and the lazy river looked like it needed repainted then. Not sure if it was even touched.
