Blizzard Beach Closed???

I was just checking Disney park schedules and noticed that Blizzard Beach listed as closed for Feb 2005. Is this true? We were really looking forward to visiting this water park as we enjoyed it while on our last Disney vacation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It was closed last year from Dec to some time in Jan if I remember correctly they have changed around the refurb schedule so it is no longer open while we are there in Dec any longer.

We were looking forward to it as well but it is closed all of November. Originally they had it as closed in October until the 31st, then reopening????

I think they were originally only showing that it was closed until October 31st until the calendar for November was posted. As the calendars for December are not showing the park hours yet, Blizzard Beach may be closed part of December as well, it's hard to say. But I do believe when they close the water parks for refurbishment, it's usually for 2 months.

I too was looking forward to visiting Blizzard Beach during my trip in November, but Typhoon Lagoon will have to do!:thewave:

This is what it is saying on the Disney site:

Disney's Blizzard Beach
Blizzard Beach will be closed for refurbishment October 24 - November 30, 2004.

We are going in January as well and hoping the "refurbishing" will have all been competed for a while.
