We no longer sell LPs at our store for various reasons and when we had a substantial donation bought in, we had to sell them on. We took them to the record specialist over the road how spent a long time looking at them, before saying, OK, they're basically rubbish, so here's £1.00. Having been to just throw them away, we were ok with that.
Five minutes on, I was talking to a customer, who turned out to be an expert and he told me to go and get those LPs back! I went back and was refunded etc, rather grudgingly. When I got back to the store with them, I noticed that the record shop had been pricing them.
£6.99 each for a stack of 20.
That's £139.80.
Cheeky wotsit!
