Blender in OKW villas

When we stayed at OKW (1 bdrm) we had a blender. Was this a fluke? Should I bring my "travel" blender? We are doing a special grandma/grandkids trip for my mom's birthday in August, and I have a feeling we will want to make some frozen beverages.

Yes, there is always a blender in an OKW 1 BR and bigger. Have a great time!

There should be a blender in all but if there's not, just call and ask for one.

There may be seven of us in a two bedroom - will there be enough plates, glasses, silverware, etc?

Yes, enough for 8. Other than OKW, the dining areas can get a little cramped for 7 or 8 people.

I really appreciate the quick response. Having stayed in 1 bedrooms at both OKW and BWV, we opted for the two bedroom at OKW. My nieces and nephews are 11, 12, 17 and 17 - so they aren't so little any more, and I figured we could use the extra space the OKW affords. Since my husband and I are paying for the trip as a birthday gift for my mom, we wanted to cook at least some meals in the room - but wanted to make sure I have enough stuff!!!

We usually grill out once or twice, sometimes having a picnic by the pool, other times taking the meat back to the room. Little do do otherwise with buns and burger plus chips or steak plus baked potatoes. I enjoy that type of cooking and my wife doesn't have that much to do herself. We also usually get a stouffer's large baked lazagne plus french bread and make garlic toast. It feeds us plus giving leftovers for quick meals later in the week. Enjoy.

On a recent stay at OKW I went to make a morning fruit juice drink in the blender. Unfortunately it was missing the middle piece of the lid . I called housekeeping & within minutes a runner brought me a whole new blender still in the box.

I usually take a quick inventroy of kitchen items when we first arrive. If anything is missing, I call housekeeping. I have never had a problem.

I am the bbq queen!!! Where are they? Also, what hours are the pools open during the summer? We are usually too busy to swim, but it will be so hot in August, I figure we will hit the pool at least a few times.

The questions never end, do they???

BBQ Grill locations:

• OKW - by all the quiet pools.
• Boardwalk - by the members pool, one single large one.
• HH - a large one near the lodge and one other site but don't recall where.
• WLV - haven't seen them but heard their there near the pool.
• BCV - haven't seen them but heard their there near the pool.
• VB - I haven't seen them, the time we needed them there were none but they've since added them and I think they're across the street.
