Has anyone stayed in blg 90 at the Grande Vista?

I was told by the agent at the property that this is a good area - not too far from a "quiet" pool, on a corner, and away from the construction area so I shouldn't hear much if anything.

Can anyone comment on this - are these statements true? I prefer to be away from alot of kids and noise.

TIA!

We were in building 91 overlooking the quiet pool and away from where the construction was (it had just begun when we were there last in April 2003). It was a perfect location, only a 5 minute or so walk to the main pool/lobby/marketplace.

LORIX2 stayed at 91 like you suggested and it was nice but I have to tell you you might want to try the new area.. It is really, really nice. I went on the tour and we saw the rooms we would have been staying in and they were beautiful. We did not hear any noise and it was during the time when the men were working outside. The salesman told us that the rooms in 91 were supposed to be refurbished. The rooms in 91 were nice but the ones in the new area were spectacular.

Bella - do you know what the bldg nbrs are for the new area?

Thanks for the imput, both of you.

Bella - thank you for letting us know about the new area.

Since I have only stayed in that one building, it was all I could offer an opinion on at the time. I hope you had a nice vacation??

Can you elaborate on the new buildings?

still on vacation am at wynham palms andusing my husbands lap top so excuse the horrible typos . I must say that the rooms are the same only much much nicer. granite counters and beautiful decor like the V V (Lorix you know what I mean).

I was glad you at least gave me a building number and I knew it would be okay. I hope this helps you on your next stay. I would ask for the new buildings. By the way Lorix, how do you get to go there each time. Do you use the timeshre tour?

Hi Bella,

Glad you're enjoying you're stay at Wyndham Palms.

I will definitely ask for a new building and by April, hopefully, that area will be running smoothly.

I have rented directly from timeshare owners at www.tug2.net

Hope you're having a wonderful vacation :D

I just called and was told that there are only 2 blgs ready in the newer section, and that they are strickly being held for owners coming in on their week.

No good for me then, since I traded my week elsewhere for here. Oh well....still rqsted 90 (or 91)...will try again when I check in.

Mom of Sleepy - we are referring to the Marriott Grande Vista's villas.

No need for an apology, there's so much discussion about different villas that it's hard to keep them straight :wave2:
