Blanket question

DD has TWO blankets!!! "Pink" and "Blue". When in Disney this past September (a million degrees!!) we brought them EVERYWHERE! When she decided she was tired, she'd get in the stroller and DEMAND we put them both on her so she could sleep. I couldn't talk her out of it. As soon as she was asleep, I took them off. Poor sweaty thing!

We kept them in the basket of the stroller until needed. I wasn't really worried about losing them.

Hoping not to have to bring them into the parks this time (she's now 3 1/2) but will if necessary. They were good to have in those "meltdown" moments.

DD15 had Green Blankie when she was little. At first it was "The Green Blankie" then it was just "Green Blankie" and she always called Green Blankie a "him".

She was allowed to take "him" in the car on long trips, but other than that "he" had to stay at home. She was allowed to have Green Blankie on the airplane and at the doctors if she was sick, but that was it.

I would be afraid it would get lost in the parks.

We live in South Florida and visit Disney at least 4 times/yr. Our son is
2 1/2 yrs. and brings his "blankie" everytime we go to the parks. It does help him to take naps, cover his head for the loud fireworks. Needless to say, we lost his blankie at MK during one visit and we were lucky enough to get it back from the lost and found the next day. Now that's Disney magic!

My DD has a blankie, that's its name. We bring it to Disney, but it stays in the room and in the suit case. She is ..... 7 :scared1: I never had a blankie so I think she is too old. I let her have it to sleep with, but never leaves her room or the house. This is the original blankie, so its 7 as well. I just commented the other day to DH that it looks new, I can't beleive how well it was made. She never used anything else so she clung on to a blankie, no passie, no thumb, no stuffed animal. I joke with her that she can not carry it down the aisle :lmao:

My son has a blanket (called "cold blanket" :confused3) and a baby (Christopher). Normally Christopher must be swaddled with cold blanket. They are coming on the airplane with us but will stay in the room while we're there.

His dad (we're divorced) told him he can't have Christopher anymore when he turns 5 (in a few mos). :sad2: DS said Mom, I just won't take him to Dad's and then he won't know.

I had a blankie for a looong time. I still remember the day my mom made me throw it away. I recently found out she saved it!
