In planning our December trip, I realized that there is a real possibility that we will need a blanket of some kind for DD while she is in her stroller. I know last year got annoying with blankets falling out of the stroller and going under the wheels. I was wondering if anyone has a solution for this? I was looking at the bundlemes but they seem to be very warm and DD will scream incessantly if she is too warm, she would rather be pretty cold. I was thinking about a sleepsack sort of thing, or wondering if I could make something similar myself (since it won't be used for sleep, safety really doesn't matter much). Or maybe she won't even need a blanket? The idea of a blanket falling on the ground at DW grosses me out but I don't want an uncomfortable baby either.

I have seen stroller clips to hold the blanket on the stroller. I actually saw a disney- mickey/mini one once at the mall. They do make a bundle me in a lite version for not soo cold weather.

I totally hate when I roll the stroller over the blanket. so yucky!

good luck

I picked up some mitten clips from walmart yesterday. $2 Tested it today and it solves the blanket problem. :thumbsup2 I've got a double stroller and it will be used primarily for the 2 year old although I'm certain my 5 year old will use it on occasion as well. I have a larger blanket that covers the both of them. I just hooked the clips to the sides and it worked quite well.

make one of those fleece knotted blankets, and just tie the knots onto your stroller. Are you using your own stroller, or one of Disney's?

I'm planning a Jan. trip and have a 2 and 1 year old. I've been thinking about this too. I just started sewing about 6 months ago and I decided to sew a stroller blanket. I made a temporary one with an old blanket I already had and it worked great. I just folded it and then sewed up the bottom and side. It's like a little sleeping bag. I cut holes for the stroller straps. It's really nice because their feet stay covered. Now that I know it works I'm going to find some cute Disney fleece or something. It was very simple and I'm sure you could do it by hand too. I just didn't want to spend $50 on a foot muff.

That's a cute idea. The fleece would be easy too, since you don't have to worry about fraying. Any chance you could snap a picture of it?

I haven't used one yet I am looking at these right now b/c it doesn't really get cold enough here for the footmuffs but plus Lily is too big for the footmuffs. I want to say I have seen some on amazon that tie on to the stroller so maybe you could add ties to a favorite blanket.
