Blagojevich removed from office

I am sorry to see him go. He was very entertaining.

Don't let the door hit you in the behind Roddy boy...what a joke he is.

Well, at least we are an equal opportunity state, one Rep Gov in prison, one Dem Gov on his way...

There aren't enough of these     for our state

I try to be nice to everyone, but in this case I must be naughty and say: good riddins to bad rubbish!!!!! :sad2:

I hope now things can get moving on the right track. I was a little surprised on how unanimous both votes were.

Well, the plot to raise taxes and hurt the working class may now commence......

Maybe it's not over yet. What cracks me up is that he believes his own hype and those gems keep popping out of his mouth. What a laughing stock! The Feds will try him at some point. That should be good for more laughs.....popcorn::

How in the world did this joker get elected twice? I mean just watch him on the TV, turn down the sound. He's soooooo slimy. Oh that hair!!!! Too much. I agree with Dawn. This guy is so entertaining.

Good riddance.

His trial is going to be a circus the likes of which have not been seen in decades!!

Unless "they" get to him in a "Chicago Way"........

Then it will just be business as usual.....

What a fruitcake this guy is. I feel for the citizens who have to deal with this.

As a lifelong resident and an employee of the State of Illinois, I can say that I am just disgusted about the whole situation. I have been watching this whole process and it just made me sick. I am so disappointed by Mr. Blagojevich and his actions. I watched in utter disbelief how he chose to visit EVERY major national TV news show, but failed to talk to the local media, spouting this "poor little me" attitude.

He did surprise me, though. I was sure that he was going to resign today. WLS Radio offered him a job, but the catch was that he would have to resign his position as governor AND not be impeached. I figured that since his wife was just fired that they would probably need the income. Then I just found out that for now, he will be able to keep his pension.

The word is that all tollway signs with his name on them will be covered up immediately until signs can be made for Governor Pat Quinn (sworn in about 20 minutes ago.)

Hi mskani. :wave2:

I am confident that Governor Quinn now, nor any governor in the future, will not attach his or their names to those signs, such a negative they have been. I would say the signs will be gone by Monday, maybe tomorrow.

He seems to be loving the crowd and the attention. He is still talking about his "accomplishments" like he is still running for office or something. Now he's telling his life story.

Will he be disbarred?

As much as I agree that he was a disgrace to the office, I don't agree with HOW he was removed from office.

Dangerous precedent being set there.
