Hi,
Leaving on the Nov. 4 Wonder and I signed up for the stingray swim. Has anyone done this one(Blackbeard's Cay). Can you give me details. I want to do something with my boys...15 and 13. I don't want to fill our entire day up with activities on shore. I'd like to do an excursion and head back to the ship. Can I hit a straw market on the way back to the ship?
Thanks, Janet

We just returned and we did like the Blackbeard's excursion. However, we waited in line to eat for 20 minutes. The lunch was ok, but was not worth the wait. My children are 8, 5 and 3 and they loved the trip. The adults enjoyed the beach the most. They actually walk you through a market to get to the boat and I saw some beautiful baskets.

pgaddis,
Thanks for the info on the stingray swim. I have 3 teens going. Can they rent snorkel gear or anything else on the island. I also plan on sunbathing while I'm there. What is there to do? Were there alot of stingrays? How long were you actually on the island?
Janet

I am interested as well. My DH, DD (5) and myself are doing this excursion in December.

I was also thinking of this excursion. :earsboy:
I would like to know how this trip is for children and how much time you have after to spend in Nassau. We also wanted to see the Ardastra Gardens.
Cruise date of 12-19, 4 day wonder then 7 nights SSR
Party of 5, DD16, DS14, & DS5
Erik
