Blackbeard may return to POTC!

A few years back during the refurb of POTC Blackbeard was replaced by Barbossa. Now Blackbeard may return and replace Davy Jones.

Interesting....Honestly I loved it that they added Barbossa, but if they had Blackbeard AND Barbossa...well that would be bonus

I also like the addition or Barbossa. And I'm not a fan of the Davy Jones character -- some wasted potential there -- so if they keep Barbossa and replace Davy Jones, that could be doubly good.

I recall they added Davy Jones the same time frame the second film came out, so it wasn't even "tested" as a character in the franchise before it was put in the attraction

Can't really bomb. The movie is as close to a can't-miss as you can get. Even if it's terrible (and, let's face it, the last two movies were very mediocre), it's pretty much money in the bank -- there are just too many people who will see it no matter what. And probably too many people who will see it that first weekend, before the word-of-mouth even gets around.

No way it will bomb it looks great like they are going back to the style of the first. IMO I think it will be the biggest or second biggest.

As far ad Blackbeard goes while I don't hate it Davy works much better with that effect. BB should gave ber brought back it AA form.

I think randomizing it would be neat. You'd never know if you were going to see Davy Jones or Blackbeard. I think they should bring back the Blackbeard AA to but keep Barbossa as well. Mermaids would be a neat addition too.

I was against the Mermaids being added but as long as it's done subtley maybe in the caves after Davy/BB.
