I was against the Mermaids being added but as long as it's done subtley maybe in the caves after Davy/BB.

I agree with you. That would be a good place but no where else in the ride.

Yea this is harder in WDW than in any other park since WDW's POTC is half as long as the rest. In DL they have so much more space to work with.

Barbossa came back in the second, so you never know if he may return.

There are many ways they could return them.

for example, Blackbeard could be returned by Angelica seeking out someone like hmm maybe a Witch Doctor.

I'd like to see the Kraken reaching out of the water to grab your boat in the cannonball scene

The thought of this terrifies me. I dont even know why. I'm just picturing sitting in the boat with Kraken there, seems pretty scary.

I know they'd never do it though.

I just had the mental image of a POTC ride vehicle suspended in the air by the Kraken Tentacles someplace just off the ride track with audioanimatronic tourists (complete with Mickey ears, Goofy hats, and large cameras around their necks) in the vehicle freaking out.


Somehow.... I don't see it happening... but it's an amusing image.
