Black out dates for GAD

The GAD program terms and conditions state:

The theme park tickets distributed under this Program will not be valid for use on the following dates:
For Walt Disney World® Resort: March 29 - April 8 and July 4, 2010

I am an AP holder and DD15 will have a multi-day ticket. Can we use our vouchers for the FP options during our April 1 through April 10 trip? Would we have to redeem them on 4/9 or 4/10? (I really hope not.)

We've already done our volunteer experience and are just waiting on the vouchers. I didn't bother reading the fine print until today. (Would have done the volunteer program anyway, too.)

According to the Guest Service Managers that Cheshire Figment spoke with, no, you cannot use the GAD voucher at all on a blockout date.

Our first day is April 8 and we have GAD vouchers. We would like to use these vouchers to upgrade to multi-day tickets and get the credit for the vouchers to be used towards this purchase. Does anybody know if they will do that with our first day being a blackout day?

No.

The problem is that the GAD voucher is not directly worth anything. To get any credit towards a ticket upgrade, you need to redeem the voucher for the 1-day ticket first. And that we KNOW can't be done on a block-out day.

They will not. During a blackout date you can not redeem your vouchers... thus not get the one day ticket that you will need to put towards the upgrade.
