Black Friday - online?

Can you purchase online @ the 'early bird' prices for Walmart, Sears, etc... on the Friday after Thanksgiving?
Seems that several of us are interested, so if anyone knows we would appreciate you sharing the knowledge!!

YES!!!! I have been shopping for the past two years that way. It sure beats fighting the crowds. Never have shopped walmart but Sears, Kohl's, Toys R Us, JC Pennys great part about shopping the morning after turkey day....some stores will give you free shipping for ordering a certain dollar amount.

Last year I fought the crowds at WalMart trying to get the 2 screen portable DVD early bird- they were sold out at both WalMarts I went to. Came home and got it online! They also leave some of the "until noon" specials up online later than noon.
Some of the offers are in-store only. You can try online but you may not know for sure until Black Friday.

One word of caution - not all stores make everything that's in their sale ad available for the Black Friday prices online so you might check online first early in the day and then head to the store if you don't find what you are looking for.

If it is something you really want I wouldn't chance it!!! I would head to Walmart...hey being in the crowd is half the fun Too me that just marks the start of Christmas. My mom & I head out around 4:00 every year since I can remember. Even when I was in college I would make sure to come home for Thanksgiving...

since you enjoy it, maybe you could just pick up what I want to get for me?!?! Just kidding!! Actually, my MIL shops at Walmart ALL THE TIME so I'm thinking of asking her to pick up what I want if she's going there anyway. I can call her on her cell and 'cancel my order' if I am, in fact, able to get it online! I have a strategy - just hope it'll work out!!!

Actually if you were a little closer I would. I'm doing it for one of my friends because she will be at DW during this time!
