Returning!
Anyone else returning those impulse buys?
I returned the wireless printer from Walmart as well as the $69 blu ray dvd player. I got the better printer at Best Buy but didn't think I would because I wasn't lining up for it!
I also returned a purse to Ross!
Anyone else?
Bought Halo Reach for $35+tax at Target, came home for breakfast/package drop off and found it on Amazon for $29.99 (no tax, free shipping) and ordered it.
Yep, returned a heating blanket and some pants and hoodies to Walmart.
Still have a pair of DD jeans that have to go back to Belks. She wore them for 3hrs and the crotch split. 14.99 or not (reg 44.00) they should be able to last more than a day!
My Saturday after Thanksgiving is becoming a swim meet tradition. Last year I volunteered at the meet (due to ankle surgery) and today I swam in the meet. I didn't even step in to a store today. Now I'm tired and ready to sleep. Tomorrow I'll shop
Nope--every item was bought for a specific gift purpose.
I thought I had overbought stocking stuffers. But after I did my inventory last night, realized that it was oka. I have 2 $1 spot items I may return to Target. They won't fit in DS's stocking. But I'll do that when I have other reasons to go to Target.
I will be watching ads very carefully to make sure that prices do not drop further. Those stores can be tricky like that. (All my deals were carefully researched ahead of time to make sure I wasn't buying a fake deal.)

Well, today we raked leaves and I went to the Scout Shop and bought awards and ordered a gift for oldest DS. I also brought my ipod to the apple store to get it switched out under warranty replacment.
OTH I'll be returning the extra TV I bought for DS to Sears on Monday after the crowds have died down. I found the exact same one on sale at Target for the same price and at Target I had a coupon so it was less money so back goes the one to Sears. But I figured since I had until after Christmas to return it I'd wait until the crowds were gone before braving the mall again.
We didn't go out Saturday because there was a football game in town.
Went to Lowes Sunday to return the timer for the Christmas lights in the yard that didn't work. Found tons of pansies and other flowers on sale for 25 cents, even big hanging planters. Only have limited room, so just spent $3 plus tax. I had looked at violas on Friday and they still wanted $1.87 per 6 pack. Bought 6 x 6 packs Sunday.
Yep, DH, the Black Friday novice, went out at 4am to get a few things. He saw boxers marked 50% so he bought 4 for $15. I had to gently explain that even at 50% off, you have to know the regular prices to know if it's a good deal. I bought 6 for $9 at a big box that were the brand he asked for. So the pricier ones went back on Saturday.
I bought all the things I wanted - and had carefully researched for the past month... but, now I'm thinking of returning almost all. I just realized that most of the things - though good deals - were things I didn't really need or even want... just got caught up in the whole "it's such a good deal" thing.
I bought about a dozen things... and only two of them were gifts! Crazy!!!
We didn't buy anything on friday and bought a $15 SD card for cyber monday. My mother bought 2 gifts on friday for less than $40 total price. Unless you were looking for a midsized tv there wasn't much that made it so good you just HAD to have it.
