Black Angus (near WH)

Has anyone been here? How is the food/atmosphere? We didn't get a chance to go last year.

well if you are talking about the one on US 192will not eat there again.

the food was not good and at those prices it should have been great.

despite asking for a special - the total tab was like $45 for 2 of us.

those are disney prices - so they don't get me back.

I used to live on the west coast and loved Black Angus Resturants, but I have to say the one close to Disney is horrible. Go to Longhorn, we have never been disappointed. they have wonderful prime rib

Last year we went to Charlie's Steakhouse... but my DD is very restless, so dining in that type of atmosphere is very difficult. Plus I must be the odd person out, I wasn't that impressed with Charlie's steaks.

My son and family like Black Angus and also another friend and his family liked it so I guess it's a personal thing. DH and I didn't care for Joe's Crab Shack but others rave about it.

We went to that Black Angus, once, never again. Food was not great, service was not great. We really did not like it (We have Black Angus restaurants near us and expected it to be of a similar caliber).

We did have a good experience at Key W Cools which is nearby or there is an Outback Steakhouse (yum!) in Formosa Gardens Plaza. Outback is often busy, so it may be worth seeing if you can phone ahead for the wait list. Key W Cools does not appear to be as busy, but we had good food & service.

Theres a Black Angus on I-Drive next opposite Wet n' Wild that I am fond of, annexed to the Monumental Movieland hotel. It has just what I want from a steak place - a good Ribeye, a comprehensive bar, and some decent Buffalo Wings. Not part of the known Black Angus chain that I'm aware of, independantly operated I think.
