Good morning fellow Blue Team Losers :sunny:

I'm up early once again due to having to drive my DS16 and his friend to school for a Debate Team meeting. And I'm happy to say I'm down 3 pounds this week

Great job SeaSpray!

Well, I'm reporting a good loss as well. 2.8! Woohoo!

Good luck to everyone else for weigh in today!
And have an awesome Tuesday!:goodvibes

Well I am glad to join the "losing" bandwagon, down 1.8 pounds today. :thumbsup2 Its not a lot, but at least it is going in the right direction!!!

Lets win this week Blue Team!!!

Hey Blue Team!

Well unfortuantely I am up 2 lbs this week

Congrats Seaspray, Geekerbell and Vern on your losses! :thumbsup2 I wish I was part of the losing club this week!

Well last week was a rough week for me. Not a lot of time to exercise and take care of myself. And don't I wake up yesterday with a sore throat and feeling crappy  I slept a lot yesterday when I got home from work and I feel a little better today but not much.

I hope everyone has a great day and WI!

Michele

I am sorry to report that I am up 2.6 this week. I think part of it is a correction from my 3.4 loss last week. While I didn't expect a loss this week, too much going on with my DD surgery but to see that gain was a shock and makes me sad.

Okay so I am on to this week and trying hard to put last week behind me.

Hi everyone,

Congrats to everyone who has posted a loss. I can report a 1.9 pound loss this week. As for the challenge, I am an inspirational exerciser. I am not sure that fits me, but it is something to think about.

Take care,
Beth

So I am still stuck at 177.2 pounds. :3dglasses :3dglasses I really wish I could get to 176 and be at a 70 pounds loss.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

But I am not, so I need to drink my water and exercise this week and not pick at junk food. I have not been following the healthy habits which got me to my almost 70 pound loss. If I would do those three things on a daily basis I know that I could lose my last 30.2 pounds for a total loss of 100 pounds.

cyber high five to everyone that continues to lose...especially this time of the year!! i'm afraid the holiday dinners and baking are getting the best of me, we had a business dinner Monday night and it was not at all what a pre-WI dinner should be. i was up .8 this week -- i'm really trying to stay focused this week for our final WI next tuesday

i'm still hoping for a walk this afternoon so i can claim 200 mins, i'm about 20 mins shy right now. i have a very busy day today volunteering, which is a good thing but it's sorting all the donated holiday gifts and it's stressful

did you all watch BL yet. i just have to say nothing personal but i just don't feel the love i felt for last season's folks. i do like Isabeau...do you all pick up on they really don't like Bill? i mean it seems like they all loathe him...makes you wonder what we don't see

Hi everyone,

Congrats to all the losers out there! You guys are awesome. I am sad to report that I gained 2#. :sad2: Now I am at exactly where I was when we started the biggest loser challenge. :sad1: Not anyting I am proud of. I have to admit I have really been struggling, I hope to gain my footing soon.

ohMom, I too feel the way you do about the BL folks on TV. My favorites are gone. I loved Kae, and Nicole. and B from the red team. I get so sick and tired of watching the "cattiness" of the girls from the black team. You can be a lady without being catty. I wonder what the editing does regarding Bill, BUT I have not seen them say anything about his personality, or his actions from people, I truly believe they are jealous that he won so many of the competitions. Remember the water competition, Hollie just sat there pouting because Bill won again, she even said "he didn't belong at the campus anymore because he is skinny". That's just sour grapes.

I would love for a female to win BL someday, but this time around I sure hope Bill wins. I don't think I have seen him be mean, or mean spirited to anyone this season.

Morning Bluies-

I am back from NYC - it was a great adventure - served at Metro Ministries on Sat - a real heartbreaker (I was prepared for that tho) I "buddied" with the 2 sweetest, cutest 7 year old girls - and the statistic that it hard for me to fathom was of ALL the children involved (and that is ALOT) 7 out of 10 have seen a family member murdered.................. saw a play starring Bob Saget and (for the older folks who might remember) JoAnne Worley (from Laugh-In) We had some teens with us too and they all got there pix with Bob S and said "who's J W (lol) !!

The "bad" news is that the 4 pounds I lost the week before - yep - they were waiting on me in NY - I found them!! -urgh...........but that is what one gets when one enjoys Italian pastries, pizza, bagels, etc.......... I still feel like I just have an extra "layer" that I didn't have before.

And, the end of the NY story is that myself and 2 other mentors were the last ones to board the plane and we were stopped as there was a "weight" problem (chuckle here but NO, I did NOT gain that much-they had to add more fuel due to weather) and we were not allowed to board. Result: free round trip ticket anywhere in US good for 1 year ! It really was okay - the 3 of us were fine with that and still home at a decent time, too.

Re-entry though has been busy busy busy both at work and evenings but today a break at work and I am looking forward to that!

Gotta run - wish I was telling you that I am going to go exercise but it just doesn't seem to be happening yet this week - we did do a LOT of walking in NY - yeah, I know that was last week and this is this week - I think I just have not really recouped since I have not been home at night and too darn difficult to get up and get moving........................ maybe tomorrow morning that will be my goal up and at 'em !

Have a good day and here's to all of us making some wise choices TODAY! :grouphug:

oh dear! where is everyone!!

don't forget to check out the last team challenge -- running only until TUESDAY here

i've gotten my clicks in 2 days in a row! :teeth:

i worked today and there was chocolate and toffees and someone gave me a mug filled with homemade peanut brittle!! eeekkkk!!!!!!

hey i was just poking on nbc's website on season 5 of BL and the picture shows only Bob and Jillian...anyone have the scoop?

morning everyone.

I've had a really crummy couple of days. I hate it, because I have done so well through most of the challenge, and now I really just don't see how I will report a loss at the final weigh in. I need to seriously get out of this hole I'm in and have some better days. As of right now I'm up 1.5 pounds from Tuesday. It's stress eating I know. I've had McDonalds and last night was three slices of pizza. Ugh...I can still feel it this morning.:headache:

Hopefully when I check in this weekend I can report that I have gotten myself back on track.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Geekerbell, I am sorry you are struggling right now. Hang in there and this too shall pass.

I am actually feeling better than the beginning of the week. I was pretty depressed. But I seem to have come out of the slump a little and I hope that I will continue to do so.

Last night I went to bed without eating anything after 7pm. I didn't do it on purpose, it just happened that way, so it led me to thinking, that I can do that. I can make some small changes right now, and add to them. In the past I think I always tried to do to many changes at once. So for now I am going to avoid eating after 7pm. I know that is a change I can do!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi Blue Teamies!!!!

Christmas came early for me-Look below for my "gift"

I GOT MY 50 LB CLIPPIE!!!!!:cool1:

I have made the switch from WW points to using Fitday to count calories. I figured my calories on the WW plan and was really low. I think that was part of the problem-body thinking it was starving from not enough cals.

Hope all of you are doing well. This time of year can be stressful. We had a doozie of a storm on Thursday (took me 2.5 hours to get home-usually takes 35 minutes) and are expecting another tomorrow-a Nor'easter. A foot or more of snow.

Gotta run-time to take DD to TKD!

Vern - Wow, Look at you! Half way there! I must say, that new clippie looks incredible. The perfect Christmas present!:goodvibes

Way to go, and thanks for being an inspiration to those like me!

Well, I see it's pretty quiet around here. I'm sure everyone one is busy with holiday prep, parties, family, etc.
This is actually my first weekend "off" in a while, when I did not have something planned or family stuff. I babysat for a friend yesterday and today we are just spending some family time, DH, myself and our three boys, wrapping gifts and resting. Next weekend we will be headed to DH's parents, then to mine, and in less than three weeks, DH and I will be headed to WDW for my birthday (without the kids).

I have somewhat regained control of my eating and have come to terms with the fact that I won't make my original b-day goal (which would have been 40 pounds). But I'm pretty much okay with that. Right now I'm focusing on just trying to maintain over the next few weeks, and I will begin focusing on weight loss again when we get back from our trip.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Hey all-:wave2:

We had about 8 inches of snow this morning and now it is sleeting pretty good:cold: This storm is supposed to be over tonight so school should be on tomorrow. We took DD sledding to a local park-lots of fun. Now we are just hunkered down, relaxing. May have a fire in the fireplace later too.

Making my shopping list for Christmas eve and Christmas dinners. Italian for the 24th, a nice roasted chicken for Christmas day. It can be hard to find things that everyone will eat, especially with the elderly (DH's grandparents are 90 and 85-one with Alzheimers). I am looking forward to next week, as we are all off school and work :woohoo: and are going to spend some good family time together.

Only one more weigh in. I have not lost a ton during this challenge, in fact I think I have pretty much lost the same 5 pounds over and over:rotfl2: but it has been a lot of fun.
