Bjs gift cards- not delivered

So I tracked the gift cards until yesterday when it was marked as “out for delivery” but was never scanned as delivered and not in my mailbox I figured maybe it’d arrive today but again...nothing. What should I do in this situation? I contacted BJs and am waiting for a reply this is irritating and frustraiting.

I would freak out. Lol. Im going through the same thing right now. I ordered $2000 worth. Was scheduled for delivery tomorrow and now pushed back until tuesday

Were they being delivered UPS or USPS? Besides calling BJ's I would also call the delivery service and see if they can find out what happened. My DH had this happen with an Amazon delivery from USPS. He tracked it. It was out for delivery and it was never delivered. He called the post office and they said they couldn't find what happened to it and it wasn't returned. They then started an investigation that went no where. He also contacted Amazon. They were very good about it and replaced the item. We think the delivery person stole it because the post office had no record of who was supposed to deliver it. This was a Sunday delivery so it was not the regular staff from the local post office. I hope your package turns up and if not I hope BJ's is able to replace them.

Thankfully it showed up yesterday. It was really weird because I grabbed the mail on Thursday so there was no mail in the mailbox. Friday I left to go study, came back and mail was delivered (without my package) which made me post this...then another mail delivery was made around 6pm. So Friday I guess there was 2 mail deliveries...so odd. The only thing I could think of is perhaps when I emailed BJs, BJs contacted USPS and that prompted a second delivery?

I don’t know why but some gift card amounts get delivered via USPS without signature required and some getdelivered via UPS with signature required. This was a small gift card amount of $100 so it was USPS.

Our USPS does 2nd runs for package delivery sometimes, too. Not sure why.

There was one time I had an $800 gift card delivery coming UPS that never made it past a depot in NJ. It was a very frustrating experience. I could see there was a problem long before the seller was willing to do anything about it. On top of that, the seller (to be clear, not BJs, but rather a company selling GCs through eBay) tried to back out of responsibility once the person who had stolen the cards used them. It ultimately took about 2 months and lots of emails and phone calls to straighten out.

I am glad you got your gift cards. Sometimes my USPS will deliver packages separately.

I think the difference in when they use USPS vs UPS with a signature probably has to do with dollar amount of gift cards. Both of my deliveries required signatures but one was for $4000 and the other for $5000. We had made an earlier order of non Disney gift cards of about $1500 and they came USPS no signature required. I don't know what the threshold is for the difference but it seems that is what is going on with the delivery.

First order delivered UPS 15 gift cards in a large box (?) with a big hole in the box and two $100 cards missing. Still pending investigation with BJs to get these replaced. Next order one week later came today efficiently mailed via USPS in a brown envelope and placed in my mailbox. I tracked this one on my phone so I received a text as soon as it was placed in the mailbox. Neither required signature and each over $1000 inside. It seems quite random how the packages are sent and I’m still waiting for my 2 $100 cards to be replaced or refunded before Nov 15th when my Disney Vacation is due. signatures must be required on much larger amounts as previous poster mentioned

I ordered Disney GC from BJ's just before Halloween. It was sent with a USPS tracking: 9700004E+21. I called BJs and they couldn't track it either. Thought it was strange the USPS used scientific numbers. Anyway, no tracking, but the package arrived Friday. White knuckle week for me.
