it is a site you download so you can get share ware program and you get them from a website like bt junkies.. i heard about it from a co worker and no zero about it also

My 16 year old brother is always telling me it's the best (free) way to get downloads. I used to use limewire, but now he hells at me for that. I know it's easier to get full albums as opposed to individual songs. It's not completely safe, but it's one of the safer options.

to down load bit torrent first the go to torrent like bt junkies but this is my first time i hope i do everything right i dont really read directions i just do things trial and error... i use to use napster way back and then lime wire but virus ... hope this works..

Well you know if you are downloading freeware you can do that without installing torrents. If you are downloading anyhting else then you know what you are doing there.

Like anything else on the internet, Bit Torrent has legitimate and non-legitimate uses. It is a great protocol for moving data, and many companies use it for things like large software patches (example: IIRC World of Warcraft uses a flavor of BT for patches). It is also used for pirating music/movies/software/etc because it is a peer-to-peer protocol.

Good point. Folks who earn salary from other folks paying for the products and services of the company they work for (so practically everyone) should be very sensitive to the fact that many uses of bittorrent are essentially theft.

it is the best p2p download software. utorrent is a good program to download for it. after that you need to search torrent sites for what you want. i will stop at listing them for fear of banhammer.
